Building “Immortal”: The Journey of Creating My Artistic Brand

reating It’s Immortal has been a journey into my identity and purpose as an artist. My name, Athanasia, which means “immortal” in Greek, reflects a vision I strive to carry through my work—a way to connect timeless symbols and stories with today’s world, merging ancient influence with abstract expression to reach contemporary audiences.

In developing It’s Immortal, I’ve been delving into my archives to find the best photos of each artwork, preserving the details and essence of each piece.

Through these images and their individual descriptions, I aim to provide clarity on the purpose and message behind my creations. For me, this process is about more than cataloging; it’s about building an archive that allows viewers to experience not only what they see but also the emotions and ideas that inspired each piece.

A guiding partner in this digital journey is Chrisothemis Perdikea (Sothemis), a next-gen growth brand, neuromarketing and AI strategist, a partner of the Connected Web Agency in Greece. Sothemis and I collaborate closely across borders, bringing my art to life in the digital space. Her expertise in neuromarketing and brand growth has helped us build a website that is visually engaging, immersive, and emotionally resonant, reaching out to a broad audience.

Projects like Immortal Echoes and Still Humans are central to the mission of It’s Immortal. Immortal Echoes brings ancient mythologies into focus, examining how these age-old stories echo within us today. This ongoing series includes works like The Labyrinth wall sculpture and sculptures inspired by Icarus, which explore human ambition, existentialism, and the timeless struggle between freedom and constraint. In Still Humans, especially through my piece Obedient Bodies, Beneath the Silence, I confront themes of conformity and isolation, reflecting on the illusion of control in our modern lives. Together, these projects embody what It’s Immortal seeks to express—a timeless resonance that invites viewers to engage with the immortal in both art and life.

For me, It’s Immortal is more than a brand; it’s a space where I can share my vision of eternity in art, opening a connection to stories that will continue to inspire, provoke, and resonate.
