“Ariadne’s Story” unfolds as a timeless narrative of love, betrayal and self-recovery.

Based on the Greek myth, the artwork revisits Ariadne, the princess who provided Theseus with a thread to navigate the labyrinth.

Betrayed by Theseus after her vital assistance, she is ultimately left to find her own path. The piece symbolizes emotional resilience and the rediscovery of self after abandonment. Through abstracted motifs of her thread, Ariadne becomes a guide not only to Theseus but to those who feel lost or betrayed, transforming her own pain into a journey of healing and empowerment.

The thread she provided now acts as a metaphor for life’s guiding paths, emphasizing the notion that we can rebuild and reinvent ourselves after loss. Through Ariadne, the artwork conveys a message about finding personal strength and a renewed sense of identity in the wake of profound disappointment.
